Events

APC organises small events for our members to gather and deep-dive into difficult topics with subject matter experts, share their individual projects with other members, conduct study trips and site visits, and to plan for collaborative projects in the region.

If you are interested to meet with us and other members, ping us to find out where our next event is.

Regional Roundtables, Workshops
Asia Philanthropy Circle typically has closed-door events regionally for our members to come together in a safe space for sharing, learning and exchange on philanthropy-related matters.  We conduct roundtable discussions with field experts, academics and other visiting global philanthropists and social innovators.  APC also co-organises events with partners in different countries to develop the market and grow social impact.  Events have been conducted in:

Vietnam Philanthropy Roundtable in Ho Chi Minh City, July 2018

Indonesia, Launch of Catalysing Education Livelihoods, in Jakarta, December 2017

The Philippines, Peace and Preventing Violent Extremism Conference, September 2017

China, China Global Philanthropy Institute Philanthropy Session in Beijing, November 2016

Since 2018, we have also started two events and programmes which will continue on an annual basis:

ASEAN Philanthropy Dialogue

ASEAN Social Impact Award

Webinars

APC recently started teaming with partners to expand the impact of our research beyond our membership. Please join us in learning more about our work in selected areas, with expert speakers and Q&A.

Learning Journeys and Site visits
APC also organises group learning journeys and site visits to our programmes and innovative projects for our members to learn first-hand on the ground about their impact on the communities.  The learning journeys aim to inspire participants to explore how they may, through their own resources or via partnerships, help address complex issues and to learn some of the approaches in addressing philanthropy strategically and sustainably.  With group discussions and exchange, they learn from each other and also from their direct experiences.
